Video Game Making
Monday 8th August
2pm – 4pm
Learn how to make your own video game using Scratch – a fun game design software! With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the online community.
Stop Motion Animation
Wednesday 10th August
2pm – 4pm
Make miniature sets and characters using a range of artist materials such as modelling clay, paints and card. Then bring them to life using stop motion animation techniques – if you can imagine it, we’ll help you animate it!
Thursday 11th August
10am – 3pm
Learn how to program motors with code, and build a robot using microbit computers. You’ll experiment with making musical robots and even a remote control car!
Animation in a Day
Friday 12th August
10am – 3pm
Discover a world of animation techniques including stop motion, drawn and computer animation. Experiment with materials and animation techniques to create characters and sets – discover how you want to tell your story. Then put it into action and film your masterpiece.
Monday 15th – Wednesday 17th August
10am – 3pm each day
Learn about the behind-the-scenes magic of film making and create your own short film with film camp! You will learn; scriptwriting, storyboarding, set design, cinematography and special effects. Working in crews, you’ll get hands on with professional filmmaking equipment including cameras, lighting and audio gear.
