Rachel has managed the company since she joined Signals in 2007 and has many years experience of working in media, education and arts. She has a BA in Film and Video and a Post Grad Dip in Arts Management.
Diane joined Signals back in 2007, she is responsible for administration, building and office management. She is also the Company Secretary.
Jess loves working with new audiences and bringing people together through creativity, delivering our outreach projects with children and young people. Jess’ background is in relational art, she has been a Circuit Artist at Firstsite contemporary art gallery in Colchester, Young Producer at Battersea Art Centre a member of Tate Collective at Tate Modern and Tate Britain. Jess has delivered workshops/ projects and programmes, in primary schools/ libraries/ community spaces/ festivals/ art galleries and abroad in India and Brazil.
With experience in film production and a BA in Film Studies from University of Essex, Jack joined Signals as an intern in 2015 and since went on to become one of our education co-ordinators delivering many of our film projects.
Frazer develops and implements our communications strategies, ensuring Signals is always ahead of the curve in meeting the needs of our audience. As a Music Technology graduate, Frazer brings experience from across the entertainment and technology industries with credits in the music, film and video games industries.
Deborah brings her experience as a teacher and actor to Signals.
John is a Lecturer in the Department of Literature, Film, and Theatre Studies at the University of Essex.

Signals have worked with Emma for over six years producing some of our award winning animations including ‘Be a Little Boulder’ and ‘Paper Dolls’. Emma is a freelance filmmaker specialising in animation with an interest in photography and sound manipulation. She has experience of working in a variety of production and post-production roles for independent Animation, Film & Television companies including BBC East, ITV Anglia, Channel 4 and FIVE.
Jane's refreshing brand of social realism has earned international recognition, with her film Sunny Boy (2014) acquired by Channel 4 and TV ARTE. My Feral Heart (Audience Award Winner, Cinequest 2016) is Jane's debut feature.
Dave is an Education practitioner specialising in theatre and digital technology. He runs Limbo Education which provides a range of workshops including game making, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Microbit, robotics and Minecraft hacking. He has delivered projects in youth theatres, homeless shelters, care homes, Pupil Referral Units, nurseries, universities, primary and secondary schools.
Since graduating from the University of Brighton in Illustration Rachel has led creative workshops in arts institutions throughout the South East and London; documenting stories close to her heart through photography, illustration and film.
Tom is an award winning animator who specialises in working with hand drawn animation processes, 3D software and live action. He has worked with the likes of Paul McCartney, Channel 4 and Warp Records.
