Board Members
This New Year would you like to do something different? You could use your skills and experience to support a local arts organisation and charity.
Signals Media Arts Centre is looking for volunteer Board members to help support and develop the organisation.
Signals Media Arts Centre is based in Colchester but works across the region, it seeks to have a positive impact in people’s lives by encouraging creativity, developing skills and raising aspirations.
Signals provides accessible opportunities in education, production and exhibition, it encourages diversity, creativity and experimentation in media.
We would welcome applications from people with an interest in the arts, media, youth work or education. We are also looking for marketing, business and financial skills.
The Board meets once every two months and has a strategic role.

Freelance
Signals employs a number of skilled and experienced freelancers to deliver courses and projects. If you are a film/digital artist or media professional with experience of, or interest in community based production please contact us with your CV.
Volunteering
Signals is pleased to be able to provide work experience in a professional media organisation we understand the importance that relevant work experience can have in job and college applications.
Signals is made up of a small team and so we are always on the look out for volunteers over the age of 18 with a range of skills or experience that can bring their knowledge and enthusiasm to help out. Whatever your background if you can spare a bit of time we would love to hear from you.
