Signals started as a media workshop as was established as a company in 1988 since it began thousands of people have worked with us. We are delighted to find that many people have gone on to work in media and the creative industries. Here are a few of the people Signals has worked with:
‘I was commissioned as a video artist by Signals Media Arts back in about 2000 to work with children at two local primary schools. The theme for the project was ‘The Environment’ and by brainstorming with the children to devise story ideas we produced two films that were subsequently screened at The Dome, London. The experience was wonderful for me, as it was my first teaching opportunity and being recognised as a video artist was very significant for me at the time. Since then I have formed my own company production www.setla.co.uk which produce films for arts organisations, NGO’s, artists and charities.’
